We’re talking big circus vibes, pure magic and red stripes, and a vibe that’s gonna be like NOTHING you all have seen for the rest of the night! That’s ‘cause we decided we’re gonna end the year off with pure magic under the big top, and trust us when we say: there is nowhere else you should be on the 31st than with us! Venardos Circus, the boutique, Broadway-inspired, animal-free circus has taken America by storm and with way less horns is pulling up to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre for their annual holiday residency — and this year, they’re rolling in with all the bangers. Including FAR BEYOND, their newest and most insanely imaginative show yet. Think high-flying aerialists, Broadway-esque production, vintage circus charm, popcorn-in-hand nostalgia, and a night where the impossible feels… extremely possible, and all here for us to enjoy! 

If you’ve never seen Venardos before live and in action, here’s the tea: this isn’t your grandparents’ circus like how it was back in the day. Founded in 2014 by Kevin Venardos, the former Ringling Brothers ringmaster and full-out musical theatre showman, the troupe blends classic circus artistry with a full theatrical flair - all with no animals or other inhumane things to mess up our fav ju-ju. Just world-class performers doing what humans do best: bend, fly, balance, flip, juggle, dance, clown, sing, and take us for an emotional ride. And it all happens in their signature red-and-white Italian-made big top tent, which transforms the Amphitheatre grounds into a little Alice in Wonderland moment for us and our crew. “Far Beyond” is the next evolution of their storytelling universe - a show built on big dreams, bigger risks, and that feeling of stepping into something unknown that we all love and enjoy. Expect aerialists swinging from the rafters, acrobats who defy gravity, jugglers who move like they’re dancing with their props, contortionists who will make your spine hurt in the best way, and clowns who actually make you laugh instead of making you question your life choices. It’s 90 minutes of nonstop spectacle, color, music, choreography, and theatricality — and every performer is so close to you that you literally feel the whoosh of the acts as they pass by.
