The two-time Grammy Award-winning bluegrass artist, BILLY STRINGS, just announced a big run of shows for 2026. Kicking it off this spring, this trek will see the “All the Luck in the World” and “Gild the Lily” singer serve up a beautiful night of hits and new music. Following the release of his “Highway Prayers” album — his highest-charting record on the Billboard 200, and third consecutive #1 Bluegrass album chart-topper, the man sure is on a roll. Pulling all the strings and creating his best body of work yet, he’s definitely raised the bar. With a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album, great things are coming his way.

ABOUT BILLY STRINGS

It all began in 2012 when a mandolin player and author of the Mandolin for Dummies asked the young fella to join him on stage for a gig. Over the next four years, he kept playing and found a heart for performing heartfelt music. In 2017, Rolling Stone listed Strings as one of the Top Ten New Country Artists to Know, praising his skills—being a promising new artist in bluegrass at the time. Later on, he got several invites from big stars to play on stage, including Phish, The String Cheese Incident, Bob Weir, Dead & Company, Widespread Panic, Larry Keel, David Grisman, and more. With music festivals left and right, all eyes were on this young lad that represented the future of bluegrass. 

Acoustic Guitar describes his music and success rooted in “his earthy, hooky songs, which transpose the world-weary yet whimsical and often homesick themes of classic bluegrass into distinctly modern contexts.” With heavy themes and deep reflections, many of his fans call his work their “daily bread.”

“I used to think that I wrote my best songs when things were difficult or painful for me, but lately I’m aware that I’m playing better and much more freely than I ever used to, and it’s because I’m just in a better place in my life,” Strings shared.
