The much-loved band are on tour with their recent 15th album, “Fake Nudes,” a departure from the Barenaked Ladies’ usual sound. “I’m gonna have to say it's a bit of a departure, in some respects, just sonically. It's just all a little bit different,” remarked Barenaked Ladies drummer Tyler Steward. “I would say it goes from atmospheric, instrumentally lush songs to pop music, like power-pop. And in the middle there's almost R&B ballad-type stuff.”
