"Greatest Metal Vocalist of All Time” – Hit Parader
“The greatest voice in rock" – Planet Rock
“100 best singers of all time” – rank 15, Rolling Stones
Robert Plant’s voice still loudly reverberates on to generations and generations of rock aficionados. His stellar career as lead singer and lyricist of Led Zeppelin are one of the major proponents of the heavy rock metal sound that we know today.
Yet all the stunning achievements with the band, after they dissolved did not make him stop and rest on his laurels. Instead, he forged on with a solo career that spans 40 years and counting. Plant considers his new music ventures as celebratory milestones. “Our recent travels have taken this wild whirlwind of a band though many incredible and inspiring places,” Plant adds. “Having just begun work on our new album, we thought we’d take time out to raise a little sand and welcome springtime with one more adventure, another celebration of life and song.”
