That's right, Buddy Guy is hitting the road for one last blast across continents for a bues-travaganza of a trek called "Damn Right Farewell". He is hitting up the States too, and for this concert he will be at the iconic St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Friday, October 20, 2023. Tickets are available on this site right now, but you've gotta be quick on the draw as they won't be around for long. Grabbing them is super-duper simple, just click the "GET TICKETS" button located above and follow the steps outlined. Guy is well known for putting on some of the most incredible shows with his superb voice and outstanding guitar skills... soooo why wait? Secure your place right now!!!

Not saying too much but letting his guitar do the talking Buddy Guy, now 86 years young is hanging up his touring footwear for his final act on the road... and he is pulling out all the stops for this one, getting himself to India, the Czech Republic, Paris, Brazil, and of course, North America. This will be your last opportunity to witness him live on stage, making this one for the ages.

He has been performing for over half a century and is responsible for bringing the Chicago Blues scene to the masses to the point where his impact can be felt in other artists such as Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and so many more. Further cementing his status as one of the greats is Rolling Stone's "Greatest Guitarists of All Time," in which he sits in the top 30 at number 23.

As a teen, he picked up the guitar with a self-made diddley bow guitar and used that as a starting point. Totally self taught, he would try to replicate the sounds of blues legends such as John Lee Hooker that he heard on the radio airwaves. He would also pick cotton as a way to support himself. Later, he received a Harmony guitar, which he used to up his game and which he kindly donated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.

Making his own rules and doing it his way, he has released over 30 albums, including his 2022 number one release, "The Blues Don't Lie." They include some of the genre's most endearing songs, such as "Midnight Train," "Five Long Years, and "Mustang Sally." He has also received such honors as the "Kennedy Center Honors," "National Medal of Arts," eight Grammy Awards, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

His shows are some of the most seriously fiery guitar playing, and his crowd engagement is off the charts. Plus, with an unfiltered, raw edge, he makes them a truly wondrous experience. You cannot afford to miss the concert when it comes through on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Grab your tickets right here and now!!!
