50 Years From Home Tour

It’s not every night we get to party here at the amphitheater - but in the summer, well - we like to make a few exceptions to that rule - especially when it means bringing some of our favorites to the stage for a night here in the middle of the city. Located in the heart of St.Augustine's - our amphitheater is known for keeping it rocking all night long whenever one of our favorite acts comes through. And we’re keeping that SAAMEEEE energy here for Vince Gill when he rolls through, too! Right here on Saturday June 27th for his 50 Years From Home Tour - Vince is back to his roots for a solo tour hitting thirteen cities across the states - including Alabama Syracuse Battle Creek Michigan and Charleston too. But no other dates get us going just like the one here does, too. And that’s why we need YOU for when it all goes down. 

SO - some of you may be wondering - who is Vince Gill anyway?! Born in Normal Oklahoma and raised on hella harmonica and a sunload of soul, he began playing guitar by listening to the radio with his family and recordings of some of the greatest rock and roll artists to date. He would bring his guitar to show-and-tell and play some of his favorite songs for everyone : so I guess you can say performing was in his blood from day one. He really got his start when he began working with Pure Prairie League after they heard some of his songs, and eventually got to Billboard with the group as a guitarist with their ‘78 album Can’t Hold Back, and again when they made Let Me Love You Tonight. And from there, well, the rest was TRULY history. He blew up after and eventually moved on to a solo career, made over 50 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 90s, and has toured around the world and back. And now, decades later and fifty years deep into his career - Gill is back on the road and searching for the truth that can only be found while singing your truths for thousands in the crowd - and quite frankly, thank god. We’ve missed him soooo much - and THAT folks is why you need to be here when this all pops off!
